if you want an account with just the basic its okay. re-opened a personal account since moving to cebu f2f its not so much because their lines are too long, but if you just want basic services they will do

BDO is a mix of convenience and frustration. I appreciate that BDO has many branches and ATMs nationwide, which makes it very accessible, especially for daily transactions like withdrawals, deposits, and bills payment. However, I’ve also encountered some challenges. One of the biggest issues for me is the customer service. There are times when I had to wait a long time in the branch or on the hotline just to resolve a simple concern. Based on customer feedback online, long waiting times and slow response are common complaints.

One time, I had to transfer money from my BDO account to my GoTyme account. It always results to error for some reason. There are times it would only allow BDO to BDO transactions which is very inconvenient. It also has low limit per transfer.

Maintenance periods are short. ATM's could have better QR scanners for cardless withdrawal. Some are positioned in a way that is impossible to read the QR. Some ATMs are not QR ready.

Long lines. Apps always on maintenance. You need to change your password constantly yet there are reports of bank account hacking. LOL
